  4. Great Chapter! ;D
I say good for her! Though, I was hoping it would be BigDaddy kicking her ass but oh well, you can't have everything.
Love the invisible security, until an intruder trespasses and then mannequin ass kicking ensues. To think, all he said was "restrain her" and that didn't turn out how you would think. xD
Not that I'm complaining. >) The ass does it to herself. She's her own worst enemy, the idiot. She actually got off easy, if the mannequin had touched her, I'm pretty sure she'd either have broken limbs or no limbs.

I'm glad Tsutomu/Birdy's arm is finally healed. ;) ...although, what the hell was she doing at the end? Was she licking her arm or something? Can she taste the difference between a healing arm and a completely healed one? I mean, really, those two last panels are just weird/creepy. I suppose it could also just be nonsense for the male/lesbian fans but still, every time I picture it I can't help but laugh because all I see is her tongue flapping about as she's trying to say "Good. I'm healed". lol Just ridiculous.
Obviously, her tongue wouldn't be out while she's talking but then what fun would that be? xD lol The image is weird/creepy but in full motion, it's hilarious.

  5. I'd call it leftover nonsense from the original version. The older Birdy the Mighty manga has a page almost identical to that one; Gomez breaks arm, she gets in the chamber, licks arm and says "good".

  6. I think the arm licking is supposed to like "kissing a booboo" or rubbing it for luck.

I thought it was a pretty cool scene.

  7. The arm-licking can be explained as one of Birdy's more animalistic behaviors. Animals lick their woulds all the time, and Birdy has already exhibited certain animal-like characteristics like sniffing to find clues.

  8. You have a point there. Adding that to rubbing her "scent" on a pole to lure Bacillus and the cat eye pupils, we can count ourselves lucky that the artist left out the tail and the ears :D. There's already a manga about alien cat girls.
