Abduction #7

Let's try this for starters. The latest chapter is now up at Batoto.net and for download links I may try mangatraders. I'm afraid making the files too easy to get has caused problems. I'm on vacation next week so let's see how this goes.

As for a comment on the chapter, I would have to say she might not do too well in the olympics. The Judge seems to have penalized her a few points...

  1. At least post a link then. (Yes I know I'm lazy. Yes I am going to it now~)

    1. "Birdy the Mighty II" page at Manga Traders: http://www.mangatraders.com/manga/series/1246

No DDL there yet. Probably Ronin had done something wrong (happens to me a lot when I try to upload something (usually torrents)).

  3. Have you tried Jumbofiles.com?

Red Hawk Scans have moved there recently for their DDLs. Was wondering why they dropped MF, probably because of the same issue you have?

    1. Me again.

It is just me saying it but I like to download the files as untouched as the scanlator released them and as far as I can see MT slightly changes the filenames, and after checking the site it seems you have to sign up to download the files to boot.

  4. I think that mangatraders, as U mentioned, is right 4 it gives opportunity to download a chapter. I use it and do not complain. Downloading needs registration, its for free no problem. I hope it solve Your problem and also many others.

    1. And also the mangas there are later uplouded into volumes which is easier to download if you just started reading it. After all it's easier to download 10 files (volumes) than 100 files (chapter by chapter).

      Big PLUS in my opinion.

  5. To be forced to sign is not a big PLUS in my opinion. Guess I'll have to wait until someone uploads them somewhere where you are not forced to sign up then. A pity.

    1. Big PLUS isn't the forced sign up. Forced sign up is obviously not a plus at all.

The big PLUS is the option to see what you're about to download, a.k.a. Manga Viewer. Also, it has the option to cross the files you already downloaded, so you won't download again.

  6. Good gravy, I presume the end of this installment is "Undine's Revenge," or something to that effect. I'm not too certain of what else could do such a number to poor Birdy.

  7. You should just go with Minus.com, Ronin. It's as accessible as mediafire and it's not as moderated. No bullshit captchas nor signing ups.

  8. Hi Ronin, could U upload chapter 115 to mangatraders?
I had uploaded some 'Yours' chapters there, and no problem occurred. Thanks in advance.

  9. Some downloaders have the upcoming future laws in mind.

People don't like signing up because future treaties such as ACTA (under review for ratification by various countries including the USA and the European Union) can compel convicted downloaders to pay for stolen items under the compensation to property owners clause. Mangatraders explicitly keeps track of your entire download history (aka theft history) which makes it all too easy for ACTA or other future laws.

You can archive completed arcs or major section updates at bakabt.me but if you wish to have individual download files, then it's up to sites like mangatraders.com, stoptazmo.com, and a few other persistent download sites. If you haven't been to stoptazmo, give that download file site a visit.

    1. Law does not work backwords, U should know 4 that is a basis of the law.
